The 85's and 85L's showing an interesting new colour pattern.

tarting with the 84 series and continuing into the 85's and 85L's, the pens were made from a new range of plastics: marbled green, blue or pink with gold veins, as well as a "shocking" green and "vibrant" marbled blue and burgundy. These colour patterns are not found in any other models.

rom top left we see the marbled, and the black 85L's. These are followed by the gold veined pens whose beauty makes them desirable. After the three herringbones we have two 85 gold veined pens at the bottom left. These were smaller and cheaper pens with a narrow band.
